If you stop to think about it, there are really three key elements to effective warehouse and distribution management. One being the overall size and efficient use of space, two, the use of technology and quality machines and three, the ability to train, motivate and maintain proper staffing levels. At JET, our primary aim is to help our customers successfully bring their items to market. They need a full complement of product in their store, as well as immediate and convenient access to our inventory for pick-up or same-day shipping. The location, size and scope of our warehousing and distribution capabilities provide a distinct advantage.

Our network of distribution centres are located in major cities across Canada and by maximizing the space available in our largest warehouses, (Vancouver & Toronto) we are able to increase warehousing capacity as well as efficiency. For instance, by stacking the racks close together and to the ceiling (about two storied) this enables easier access, requiring less lifting of product in and out. Using several of the more costly high-reach, lifting machines with a short turning radius facilitates maneuvering within a narrow area. This also allows for exceptionally co-ordinated and cohesive bin locations, which are easier to find, thereby saving valuable time. Selecting items becomes a snap! And with high-reach order picking machines, the operators can move sideways along the rows, eliminating the time consuming up and down movement of standard fork lifts.

Our Vancouver showroom has undergone some renovations along with the addition of a second showroom. Improvements include new wall layouts, POP displays and the addition of select Strongarm products. Both showrooms display the effectiveness of JET merchandiser boards and complimentary product placement.
